After creating a one-off capsule of “Man Made Suede” bags with PORTER and presenting its Spring/Summer 2019 Shadow Project assortment earlier this month, Stone Island returns for SS19 with its new Ghost pieces. The collection was heavily influenced by the idea of camouflage, with monochromatic styles dominating the range and setting a minimalistic tone.

Within the looks are jackets, over-shirts, sweatshirts and pants that utilize various distinctive fabrics and are offered in a concise color palette of beige, black and blue. The Italian label’s outerwear pieces, such as its standout Fishtail parka, were crafted in a special material called 50 Fili — a brushed cotton nylon canvas that is soaked in a light polyurethane resin to produce a unique textural feel. The style also incorporates a drawstring hood and waist, snap cuffs, and two large double-entry hand pockets.

As for tops, the crewneck knits were designed with mercerized ribbon and feature a ribbed neck, cuff and bottom hems, as well as a patch pocket on the chest. Meanwhile, the over-shirts take on a cotton nylon canvas fabrication, while key details such as bellows pockets and double-slider zippers finish it off. Coordinating nylon cargo pants round out the outfits.

The Ghost collection is priced from $260 USD for the nylon sweatshirt up to $1,028 USD for the parka. It’s available to shop now on Stone Island’s website and at select retailers including MATCHESFASHION.
